Joining the Fair Board and
Director Application & Election Process

Serving on the Huron Community Fair Board is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about agriculture, youth development, community involvement, and preserving local traditions. Board members provide leadership and guidance for the fair's future, helping oversee the fairgrounds, annual events, and long-term planning efforts. The Huron Community Fair Association is governed by elected directors who serve according to the organization's bylaws and governing policies. Community members interested in board service are encouraged to volunteer at fair events, attend board meetings, and contact the Fair Office to learn about current eligibility requirements, application procedures, nomination opportunities, and election schedules. Directors are elected by association members to fill available board positions, and prospective candidates should verify the most up-to-date requirements directly with the Fair Office at (989) 269-7542.
