Since 1868, the Huron Community Fair has been bringing people together, making it one of Michigan's longest-running and most cherished agricultural fairs. For more than 158 years, the fair has served as a cornerstone of community life in Bad Axe and throughout Huron County, celebrating agriculture, youth achievement, livestock exhibitions, entertainment, education, and local traditions.

As Huron County grew and prospered, so did the fair. The event became deeply woven into the region's identity, evolving alongside the development of Bad Axe, which was selected as the county seat in 1873 and later became Huron County's first city in 1905.

The Huron Community Fair Association has proudly preserved this enduring tradition for generations. What began as an agricultural gathering has grown into a week-long celebration where families, farmers, businesses, exhibitors, volunteers, and visitors come together to showcase local talent, support youth programs, and strengthen community connections.
